Preparing to Squat

Even before you get under the bar, there are a few things to take into consideration to successfully put up some big numbers. In this lesson we’ll group these things into two topics:

  • Equipment: What to look for in gym equipment and personal equipment.
  • Body Position: Figuring out where your hands and feet should be with 600lbs on your back is not an easy thing. Let’s think about that beforehand, when the thought of getting crushed like a bug is not buzzing around in your head.
