Course Objectives

Depending on your experience level in the gym, you may already be proficient with the squat. The purpose of this course is to optimize your squat technique to maximize your power. The end goal is to teach you how to squat the most weight possible with the least effort necessary – my powerlifting motto!

When you complete this course, you should:

  • Understand basic body mechanics involved in squatting for maximum power
  • Understand body position and movement through the squat’s full range of motion
  • Be able to consistently set up properly for a powerful squat
  • Execute a powerful squat through the full range of motion
  • Assess your squat technique and identify common problem areas
